If you are visiting Orange, Byng Street Local Store is an absolute must-stop—especially if you appreciate a place that prioritizes bold, well-executed flavors and a properly brewed cup of tea over fluff.
The food here is outstanding. Everything comes out fresh, generous, and clearly made with high-quality regional ingredients. The kitchen knows how to balance a dish so that every bite packs a real
punch, whether you are stopping in for a hearty breakfast or a seasonal lunch special. Service is sharp, efficient, and friendly even when the floor is packed, meaning you get fantastic food served fast without the unnecessary wait.
While I can’t speak to the coffee, their tea selection is top-tier. They don't treat non-coffee drinkers as an afterthought; the tea arrives properly steeped at the right temperature, rich in flavor, and served with real care.
A vibrant, highly dependable local favorite that delivers on what matters most: fantastic food, great tea, and efficient service. Highly recommended.
